The Word "Just".

Or is the use of the word a reflection of how meaningless we perceive certain people, places, events and things?
When you are visiting a clothing store, or jewelry store and the staff member approaches you
and asks you if you need any help, you reply " No thanks, I am just looking around"
Its almost as if "just" is signifying a lack of something that is greater.
Perhaps we are mistaking the word "just" for the word "only"
Although the word "only" used in that context
still has the same properties as the word "just", so I guess It doesn't really matter.
It seems as though when we use the word just, it is part of a larger issue of insecurity!
Are we so insecure of what we are doing we have to make sure others know to not pay attention to
what we are doing or referring to by adding the "just" in front of it?
Are we so embarrassed to talk to our brother, mother, or sister on the phone that we must make others
aware who are present listening that, the other person on the line is insignificant by adding "just"?
Does adding "just" - "Its Just my brother".
Does the adding of the word "just" elevate us to a higher level then the person who we used the word "just" in describing?
Vanity?
I am important and they, well they are a "just" pay no attention to them.
Why do we even need to add a "just" to anything we are describing, I see no point.
The only time I see it valid is when we are using "just" as a measurement of time, or "just" as in a honorable virtures someone posesses.
Its like we are judging and expressing the lack of validity/importance of certain people, places, events and things?
Why do we feel compelled to show the lack of validity/importance of certain
people, places, events and things to others, buy using the word just to devalue it?
Why cant we be confident in who we are talking to, what we are doing, and things we are referring to,
and say what we are doing in a neutral way, without adding that negative "just" spin on it?
I am talking to my brother! " Wow no judgment on the value of him or the phone call"!
I am using the phone for 1 min. " That was easy, and it doesn't sound sad or negative"!
I personally do not think people give a shit weather you are doing something or just doing something.
Makes you sound like you are a wimp, unsure of yourself, or up to something sneaky if you are "Just doing something".
Almost like the using the word "just" is trying to deflect attention away from you.
Makes me wonder if your up to something else!
If you say you "are doing something" straight up.
That has power and confidence, no messing around, and you know what you are doing and why you are doing it.
Nothing negative about it.

People always say " Oh you analyze things to much, you are just debating semantics"
Let me inform you, the language you use is a representation of your thoughts.
Your thoughts are a reflection of your state of mind.
Your state of mind is a reflection of your reality.

You can tell a lot about someone, by the words they use and the way they speak!
When you respect others and the experiences you have in your life, you will cease to judge them,
thereby waking to greater wisdom and beauty in the most small and seemingly insignificant events.
Nothing is insignificant. Every event, person, place and thing you ever experienced has more importance
than you will ever know. Nothing is Random. I am not saying your reality and destiny are pre-planned and you
have no control. I am saying everything you experience down to the atomic level has depth and meaning beyond your
comprehension. Yes even that chewed up gum you stepped on and stuck to the bottom of your shoe has deeper
meaning than you think. tee hee.
More will be explained in later chapters.
Next time you feel the urge to use the word just, be aware are you judging, devaluing, stating the insignificance, lowering the importance
or a person, event, place or thing? By doing so you are shrinking, constricting, judging, devaluing, stating the insignificance, and lowering the importance
of your own experiences and reality! Yikes!
Seek meaning and value instead of concluding or pretending its meaningless.
Peace,
Posoul.
