What is Fear?

If you don't learn how to control your emotions and mind, they will control you.
And I can guarantee you, that you will not like the results!

Being in fear dramatically limits what you can experience in your lifetime.
This happens because we avoid what we fear, thus experiences that could possibly benefit us,
empower us and bring happiness are missed because we fear them.

If you are afraid to ask your boss for a raise and you never do it, will you ever get the raise,
or experience the benefits of having gotten the raise?
No of course not!
Thus by being afraid of asking for a raise, brings you what you imagined what would happen if you did ask him.
You are fearing asking for a raise for fear of humiliation and rejection if the boss says no.
But by not asking, you never get a raise, which achieves the same result no raise.

Not asking for a raise also brings other results.
You never know what would have happened if you did in fact ask.
So your mind is always thinking about what would have happened if you would have.
You are haunted by the unknown of what could have been.
You further decrease your personal power because you yielded to the fear once more again.
By yielding to the fear again and again, it negatively affects your self-esteem.
It also affects you on how you deal with other fears and problems, because you lack
the confidence and experience to deal with problems and fears head on.
It leads to frustration and anger, when you don't see a solution to a problem/fear or don't want to
confront the fear or problem, most times we have to confront the fear or problem.
But what if we don't? Are we not rejecting reality? What happens to things we don't deal with?
They get bigger and become more of a burden.
What if I asked you to hold an average size glass of water. How heavy is the glass of water?
Most people would range between 1/8 pound to 1 pound.
Really the weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long you try to hold it!
Hold it for a minute, that's not a problem.
 Hold it for an hour and you will have an ache in your arm.
 Hold it for a day and you will probably have to call an ambulance.
Funny thing is, it's the same weight, but the longer you hold it, the heavier it becomes.
If we carry our fears and stresses all the time, sooner or later, as the burden
becomes increasingly heavy, we won't be able to carry on.

Next time you feel a fear coming on, try something different, don't act in a predictable way,
break the cycle, see what happens, approach the situation with a different perspective,
control the situation instead of the situation controlling you, slowly take back your power,
bit by bit, and monitor the results. Your goal here is Self Mastery.

By fearing something you are giving your power and vital energy away.
You are victimizing yourself, without anyone else doing it to you.
The more your fear you have, the less power and control you are exerting over your reality.
Again why do we do this do ourselves?
Are we afraid of change?
Why would we be afraid of change?
Because we view ourselves at the mercy of our environment with no control.
Then imagine circumstances in which we suffer at the hands of others, with no control.
LOL! Time to wake up tame the beast called our mind that creates such imaginary horrors.

You want change? Then change up your thoughts, change up your actions,
change up your motivations, change up your intent and mean it.
Then you will see your life change before your eyes.
INSTANTLY!
YES I MEAN INSTANTLY.
That is not a figure of speech or an exaggeration.
The world is yours, if you want it to be.
You can have anything you desire, it really depends on how bad you want it,
and how far you are willing to go to get it.

Why are there so many unsuccessful, unhappy, unfulfilled, unloving people in the world today?
It is in direct proportion to how much fear they have inside.
It is perfectly balanced.
That just shows you how much fear is rampant in today's society.

There is an old saying as follows:

Where you fit in, is determined by how much fear (Negative Imagination - Illusion) you let control you.

(I will discuss how fear started in us, the root cause, and ways to deal with fear
 in later sections. I need to build up to it, for it contains many advanced concepts.)
