What
is Fear?
So what is fear?
An imagined
negative circumstance, that you think is real.
Illusion.
How can we
justify treating our negative imagination creations as real?
Simple! Expect
less of yourself.
The less you
do, the more you avoid things, thus the more you think you wont have
to deal
with your
negative imagination creations that you think are real.
What are the
effects of fear?
Fear, puts us
in a prison without walls.
We are
reacting to imaginary circumstances. Self delusion? You decide.
Love and Fear
are opposite.
The more you
fear, the less love you experience.
Fear thus,
prevents you from connecting with love.
Many of us
when we get older, have a fear of growing old alone,
thus we seek a
relationship to find love, out of fear of being alone.
Almost like
the relationship is a security blanket for our fear.
How can we
find love, when the relationship is based on the opposite of love?
Fear!
Fear creates
stress, when we are in fear, the human body goes through some remarkable
changes on the
fly to protect itself from the real or imagined threat.
Fear is a
chain reaction in the mind that, starts with a stressful stimulus
(imagined or real) and ends with the release
of chemicals
that cause a racing heart, fast breathing and energized muscles, your
body dumps huge amounts
of adrenaline
into your blood stream, among other things, also known as the
fight-or-flight response.
When you are
in fear, your body is prepared to run or fight.
All of the
body's resources are utilized to get you out of that situation
(imagined or real).
All of your
blood that is used for the normal functioning of your major organs,
liver, kidney, pancreas,
immune system,
etc is re-routed to the extremities of your body, arms shoulders,
legs, feet,
so you have
added strength and stamina to fight or run and get the hell out of there.
What happens
when we take away the important needed blood and resources from the
vital organs
of the body
and give them to the arms and legs, whenever we get stressed?
Or body's
vital organs ceases to function in an efficient manner until we
become un-stressed and back to normal.
Remember, fear
is stress.
What happens
when we are constantly being bombarded with stress on a daily basis?
Most North
Americans are dealing with stress on a daily basis in monumental proportions
in this day
and age. That means your body is continually in flight or fight mode.
Your bodies
vital resources are being taken up by your fear - stress,
thereby
weakening your immune system, heart, liver, kidneys, thyroid gland
and so on.
You cannot
grow or be healthy in a body always on the alert and in fear-stress.
When you get
sick it's not because you caught a cold or flu.
Everyone has
1000's of viruses living in our bodies at any given moment. These
viruses are called opportunistic viruses.
They are
always present, although they lie dormant until your body lacks
sufficient resources to fight them off, then you suddenly get sick.
That is what
getting a sore throat, cold, flu, cold sores, herpes flare up and
countless of other conditions are all about.
